When this Scratcher arrived I had reservations as to whether it would work.My large male cat absolutely LOVES this scratcher and actually prefers it to his conventional sisal scratchers that I keep around the house.Oddly, my female cat won't even consider using the cardboard scratcher. She seems to prefer the sisal types.I now have two of these cardboard scratchers and my male cat really loves them, and he uses them all the time! That means, I really love them too, as my furniture still looks new with NO scratch or claw marks!
